A brief history...
2007
Where It All Started
Despite being incorporated in 2013, it all started long before that! Gavin's dad was into making keyrings, it was more like a hobby for him. Little did he know he had planted the seed for what was to come.
2008
Upgrading From The Spare Room
As Gavin got more involved, the garage was converted into a workshop, purchasing a Rowland versacamm, print and cut machine. This was where Homegrown Graphics was born.
2010
A Family Business
Gavin's dad took a back seat, and Natalie (Gavin's partner) started to help on anything and everything.
2013
Our First Unit, 10D
As the business began to grow, we moved into a 900 SQF unit, just across the road from where we are today.
2014
The Start Of Our Architectural Journey!
This year saw us do our very first architectural wrapping job, completing a frame wrap for Stoneacre in Doncaster.
2015
Upgrading Again, Unit 8B
Due to the requirement of needing more space, Unit 10D was quickly outgrown, with the team moving to unit 8B. We also decided to shorten our company name to HG Graphics.
2015 - 2018
Let's Grow The Team
As the business continued to grow, so did the team too. Kyle joined as an install engineer and Lauren came in to help with the running of the office.
2020
Pandemic Restructure
We used the chaos of 2020 to redesign our business model, with a shift in focus to commercial projects.
2021
HG Surface Was Born
With the growth and demand for architectural wrapping, we made the decision to create a dedicated division of our business to this work.
2022
HG Graphics & HG Surface
With the clientele of HG naturally maturing, so had the company and the services it catered for: Vehicle Branding, Signage & Display and Architectural & Décor.
2023
Team HG! & New Unit
To sit above the brands Graphic & Surface, a new business name was born… TeamHG!. We also finally got the keys to our brand-new units, giving us a whopping 4,500 SQF of space.
